Hi there,
Happy Halloween weekend! This week you're getting two free packs, one for the spooky fun and one for the cozy days after.
Free Halloween Activity Pack
Something fun to do while you wait for trick-or-treating, or on a slow Saturday morning.
Bonus: Your free Cozy Fall Woodland Pack
Once the costumes come off and the candy is sorted, November is right around the corner. The clocks fall back on Sunday, and it's the perfect season for cozy afternoons at the kitchen table.
6 printable pages for ages 3 to 6:
3 coloring pages: a happy hedgehog carrying an apple, a squirrel holding an acorn, and an owl on a branch in the falling leaves
3 activity sheets: count the acorns and match the number, trace the letter A (A is for acorn and apple), and help the squirrel through a maze to find the acorn
Print on regular paper and grab some crayons. That's all you need.
3 quick ways to use the pages together
Go on a little nature walk first. Collect a few leaves (and acorns, if you find them), bring them home and count them together before doing the counting page. Keep small finds like acorns away from little mouths.
Play "A is for..." around the house. After tracing the letter A, look for things that start with A: an apple in the kitchen, an ant in a picture book, maybe an alligator toy.
Make it a cozy evening routine. With darker evenings after the time change, set out the owl page after dinner and talk about which animals stay up at night while we sleep.
Little one home from school on Tuesday for Election Day? Save a page or two for then.
Want more?
You'll find lots more woodland animals, fall leaves and harvest pages there.
